mod_cloud_notify_encrypted: Ensure body substring remains valid UTF-8
The `body:sub()` call risks splitting the string in the middle of a
multi-byte UTF-8 sequence. This should have been caught by util.stanza
validation, but that would have caused some havoc, at the very least causing
the notification to not be sent.
There have been no reports of this happening. Likely because this module
isn't widely deployed among users with languages that use many longer UTF-8
sequences.
The util.encodings.utf8.valid() function is O(n) where only the last
sequence really needs to be checked, but it's in C and expected to be fast.

Details ------- mod\_register\_web has Prosody serve a web page where users can sign up for an account. It implements reCAPTCHA to prevent automated sign-ups (from bots, etc.). Configuration ------------- The module is served on Prosody's default HTTP ports at the path `/register_web`. To configure the CAPTCHA you need to supply a 'captcha\_options' option: captcha_options = { recaptcha_private_key = "12345"; recaptcha_public_key = "78901"; } The keys for reCAPTCHA are available in your reCAPTCHA account, visit [reCAPTCHA](https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/) for more info. If no reCaptcha options are set, a simple built in captcha is used. Customization ------------- Copy the files in mod_register_web/templates/ to a new directory.
